Trip to Lexington Nebraska!

Right after girls camp, i drove home and then drove straight up to Lexington that same day to take my friend Hilda home! We had a blast!

I met a lot of new people, and tried tons of new things, like weird Mexican food, and crazy rides at the fair! It will be a weekend i never forget!!!

The theme for Girls Camp was "Come Up Higher"..So we talked about things and ways to boost our self esteems. And how God is always there when your down, with a hand for you to grab on too, and lift you up!

We were all SO tired..and took every opportunity to sleep!

But it ended up all being okay!! (=

It was my last year at camp as a second year YCL (Youth Camp Leader) i was over 3rd years, with 4 other YCL's. We had 16 girls. The YCL's went on Tuesday to get to know each other and get things ready for the other girls. Wednesday all the girls came! It was so fun to see all their little faces, they were so happy to be there! We did fun crafts, swimming, service projects, songs, games, learned to cook different kinds of food, and went star gazing all together! SO FUN!

3rd years skit!! Our skit was about how you can pray about anything! Even the really small things that you don't think matter.

The night before we left, we had testimony meeting..I wasn't for sure if i wanted to give my testimony, cause i didn't want to say anything i maybe shouldn't. As I was sitting there i got this feeling i really needed to go up, it was my last year and i might not see these girls again. I looked over to Sister Harrahill and she said go up, it will come to you whatever you need to say. So i went up..and it all just hit me!

I started telling the girls what had happen to me, not going into detail, but just telling them. And i told them how happy i was for what i did, how beautiful he is, and how much i love him! I told how grateful i was to the Peterson's for being great parents, i love them so much! I also told them even though i believe God had a reason for all he did, and how it was a great miracle and blessing, even though it was truly SO difficult for me!

That God has a grander plan for us all, only he can see the big picture for what will do in our lives.

Heavenly Father will always loves his children, and as his children we can show our love for him by living our lives around the commandments!

The Sleeping Child Your Holding..

I found out that i was 6 months pregnant in March, and believing and knowing the standards i have. I decided to place him for adoption, well it just so happen that the most caring and loving people i know were needing a miracle. I met with Victoria (adoptive mother) one day, and I knew right then and there that this baby was hers as well. God must have wanted me to be the vessel to carry one of his spirit children into this earth to be raised by another. It truly is a great blessing!

His name is Jacob Taylore Peterson he was born on June 7th at 5:15pm, weighed 6lb 14oz and was 20 inches long. He is just the perfect baby! We all love him SO much. It was the hardest thing to place him for adoption, but the best decision ill ever make.

He's so peaceful, because love has always been beating in his heart!
